Permanent Hair Removal - Safe and Gentle

Why Choose Electrolysis?

If you are looking for effective and efficient hair removal and only think of lasers when it comes to hair removal, there are benefits that electrolysis offers that lasers don't.

Even with today's laser technology, electrolysis is still considered the most reliable hair removal treatment on the market.

Electrolysis can effectively remove unwanted hair one follicle at a time.

The precision of electrolysis makes it the most beneficial facial hair
          removal treatment available.

Electrolysis has been used for over 100 years to safely remove unwanted
          body hair
  •        Electrolysis is not dependant on hair color and can even remove grey hair.

With recent advances in laser technology, electrolysis started to become obsolete in the hair removal industry. The truth is, electrolysis is an excellent hair removal technology, but it requires considerable expertise and experience with the treatment. Like many lost arts, it is not the procedure but the practitioner that determines the beauty of the final result. Electrolysis is considerably effective at removing hair in hard to reach places, smaller amount of hair or hair that is resistant to laser hair removal. Electrolysis targets the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin cells virtually untouched.

The key to optimal hair removal with electrolysis is with the experience of the practitioner. Carla has the expertise and experience with electrolysis hair removal to offer you the best possible results for all of your hair removal needs.

    How Electrology Works

Electrolysis uses a low level electrical current to remove hair permanently. The current is delivered to the Dermal Papilla (the source of nourishment for the hair located at the base of the follicle) and the productive organ or matrix of the hair through a very fine sterilized disposable probe inserted into the follicle along the hair shaft. Once the current is applied and the papilla and the reproductive organ/matrix of the hair are destroyed, no further hair growth will occur.

    Normal Hair Growth Cycle

All hair, regardless of the area of the body, has a different growth cycle. After the hair is sloughed, the follicle becomes dormant for a period varying from a few weeks to several months, and then begins once again to produce hair. Since only visible hair can be treated, the initial treatment for any given area can vary. Much of the perceived “regrowth” that occurs during treatment is really hair emerging from dormancy. Once this hair becomes visible, it can be treated for the first time.

    How Many Treatments?

I can’t specify how many treatments will be necessary for permanency since every client is unique. There are several factors which contribute to the length of the treatments. I will be able to answer this question more clearly after a review of your case history.

    Areas Most Commonly Treated
